Do i need to fight for my long distance relationship?

i met an american man when i were in Philippines then he promised that he will comebact to philppines for me on march. but before march i flight abroad to work i let him know that i wasn't in Philippines anymore, but then he cancelled his plann to go back there since i am not there. we keep chating he told me he want to live in Philippines thats why he want to merry with filipina woman, i told him i will be back after 1 year and he agree on that. he said he will be in Philippines soon as he get his financial in good shape...sometime i show he is on line i message him but he didn't reply at the same time but i always receive off line sweet messages. i don't know if i should fight with my feeling? he told me i am his dream girl...i feel he has another gf but i have no prove yet...i also wonder why he didn't ask me to saw my face even in cam. we never had video call or cam to cam....pls help....thanks
