My boyfriend wanted to go the beach alone with a girl I've never met? Am I being unfair?

I CAN appreciate just how you feel, I'd feel the same way if I were in your shoes too! I also agree with you that it's not an issue of trust, it's more an issue of respecting your feelings on the matter. Why you're not "allowed" to at least be there with them shouldn't be. Hard to understand why he doesn't get where you're coming from. I do believe you do trust him, but I don't feel it's wise to begin with to put yourself in a "compromising" position of being alone with another female when you already have a girlfriend! I'd ask him if he just can't see your reasoning of respecting your wishes as apposed to the fact it has nothing to do with trust. I don't feel he's making the rite choices in what he's doing, but I'm afraid you're not going to be able to get thru to him. You'll either have to accept him as he is, or move on to someone who at least can understand where you're coming from & why..Good luck, honey!^
