What book should I buy and read?

I want to buy a new book every time I get a paycheck. And I just got my first paycheck and want to get a really good book that I can read over and over. It has to be very intriguing and intelligible. And I was thinking if some symbolism went with that would be cool... like "the Iliad" for beginning.
